"Concordia's programs broadened my horizon."
Alissa's future is all about law school and getting into a practice, a future for which Concordia has well prepared her.
"My English major has given me the ability to analyze, read and think critically, as well as furthering my writing skills." When she graduated from Concordia, Alissa had been accepted to five different law schools.
Why Concordia? "The smaller class sizes that Concordia offers allow for more interaction between the professors and students, and students to students, and makes the learning process much more effective because everyone is known as an individual more than just a face or a number. I knew my fellow English majors and my English professors very well."
Her biggest surprise at Concordia was the relative ease with which Concordia students can travel around the world.
Opportunities exist for study trips to England, Italy, the Netherlands, Thailand, and Israel, to name a few.
Alissa notes, "I had the opportunity to study in London for one semester, which was a priceless learning opportunity. These programs can really broaden a person's horizon and are easy to take part in."
