"My internship gave me hands-on experience."
After attending a state college for his freshman year, he knew that he wanted the atmosphere that Concordia could offer.
"As a Lutheran Christian I felt it was important to incorporate religion with my studies and to surround myself with others who felt the same necessity. After visiting Concordia's campus and researching the communications department, I decided that it was a perfect fit and transferred."
The internships that Josh took part in while a student are leading him to his career choice of sports information or sports writing.
He served three separate internships while an undergraduate, each of which taught him different skills of responsibility, independence, leadership and corporate communications.
"I am confident that I was given the opportunity to prove myself at each internship site and have developed professional contacts for the future."
