Printmaking Studio

Our printmaking space supports a wide range of applications. The Intaglio class explores etching, drypoint, aquatint and photo applications. Screenprinting students work with hand-made and photographic stencils, and the Relief Print class covers woodcut, linocut and monoprints. New and experimental techniques, including digital applications and non-toxic approaches are explored as well. Studio equipment includes a 6’x3’ Praga etching press, vertical ferric chloride etching bath, plate and screen exposure units, and large format digital printer.
