Think Pink Night a Huge Success, Photos Available!

Nick Schutz, a three-time cancer survivor, spoke on behalf of the Hope Lodge and his personal experiences while a display at the Bear Wear table assisted to keep fans informed about cancer


James Metcalf, a senior on the men's basketball team, is honored as the annual recipient of the Dennis J. Getzlaff Memorial Scholarship. Getzlaff, who died of cancer while coaching at CU, is represented in the photo above by his surviving family members. Athletic Director Tom Rubbelke (speaking) and head coach Kelly Boe (left) present a plaque to Metcalf on behalf of the Getlaff Family


The evening also included multiple contests. Pictured above is Lance Meyer (far left) competing against Blair Murphy (far right) in a TV Jingle quiz. Below, the fans attempted to throw their Pink Paper Airplane at one of three hula-hoops placed on the floor
