Feb. 27– The Concordia softball team continues to play at an even pace, posting a 5-5 mark after their first 10 games of 2007. Entering their spring trip to Fort Myers, Fla., the Bears were 2-2. After their first six games in Flordia, the Bears have continued the pace by posting a 3-3 mark down south.

They opened their trip with a 12-4, five inning win over Alma College but fell later in the day to Mercyhurst, 7-1 last Saturday. On Sunday, the Bears split with Mercyhurst, pulling off a 3-2 win in eight innings before falling 8-4. Earlier today, the Bears split again, falling 6-2 to Alma before defeating Capital 6-5.

On the trip, sophomore pitcher Jenny Kaminski has posted a perfect 3-0 mark for the Golden Bears.
