Mar. 26– The awards continued to roll in for Amanda Behnke, who was a WBCA and a Women's Division II Bulletin All-America honorable mention selection. The WBCA is voted on by the coaches of NCAA Division II women's basketball while the Women's Division II Bulletin team is picked by the publication.

The Northern Sun's Player of the Year in 2006-07, Behnke set Concordia's single-season scoring record with 551 points and led the league in scoring with 17.2 points per game. She also averaged 8.2 rebounds and closed out her season with her finest performance with career-highs of 30 points and 21 rebounds in the NCAA Regional Tournament Semifinals.

She earned three NSIC Player of the Week awards, had 10 double-doubles and scored at least 20 points 13 times. She led the Golden Bears to a 22-10 mark on the season including NSIC Regular Season and Tournament championships.
