Apr. 16– Concordia softball coach Bob Bartel has announced that Mollie Lenzi has committed to play for the Golden Bears in 2008. Lenzi, an infielder from Cretin-Durham Hall, is a three-time letterwinner and was named all-conference as a junior. She was a member of the 2006 Minnesota Stars softball team that won the state tournament. She is also a three-time academic award winner.
Lenzi is a sister of current Concordia third-baseman Amanda Yurek.
