Apr. 20– Concordia softball coach Bob Bartel has announced that Spring Lake Park senior Katie Walsh will play for the Golden Bears in 2008.  Walsh a five-year letterwinner for the Panthers, has earned all-conference honors while also being team MVP and team captain.  She also letterered in volleyball and basketball at Spring Lake Park.

She joins Stephanie Schmikla and Mollie Lenzi, who committed to the Concordia earlier in the Spring.  They will join a Golden Bears team that has played in three straight NCAA Regional Tournaments.
