Apr. 23– Concordia softball coach Bob Bartel has announced that Cassye McMahon has signed a National Letter of Intent to suit up for the Golden Bears for the 2008 season.

A pitcher from Sacramento, Califl, McMahon has earned three letters in softball and is currently pitching for a fourth for Ponderosa High School. She helped her squad to a league championship and has been an all-conference selection each season of her career.

McMahon, who is also involved in numerous co-curricular activities outside of softball, is the fourth signee for the program. She joins Mollie Lenzi, Stephanie Schmikla and Katie Walsh to join a program that has reached three consecutive NCAA Regional Tournaments.
