May. 02– The NSIC Women's Softball Tournament game times for Saturday, May 3rd have been pushed back two hours due to poor weather predicted in the morning hours. Games will start at noon rather than 10:00 a.m. as previously scheduled.

The tournament has already been changed from a Friday-Saturday tournament to Saturday-Sunday because of the weather.  Weather may force the tournament to be changed from double-elimination to single elimination.

The 2008 NSIC Softball Tournament Champion receives an automatic berth to the NCAA Division II Softball North Central Regional.  The NCAA Regional Tournament is scheduled for Thursday-Sunday, May 8-11 in Emporia, Kansas.

The Golden Bears will enter the 2008 NSIC tournament as the fifth seed.  They will play fourth seed Mary in the opening round on Satueday, May 3 at 2:00 on the Mashall Softball Complex field in Marshall, MN.  Southwest Minnesota State, the winner of the regular-season title will host the tournament.

Win or lose the first game, Concordia will play again at 6:00 on Friday, May 2.  If they win their first game, they will move to the winners half of the bracket at play the winner of the Southwest Minnesota State/Bemidji State game on SMSU Field.  If they lose the first game, they will play the loser of the SMSU/BSU game at the Marshall SB Complex and have to work their way back into the championship game.
