May. 05– Concordia men's golf coach Matt Higgins has announced that Aron Duren from Scandia, Minn., has signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the Golden Bears in 2008.

The Chisago Lakes HS senior was a 2007 and 2008 all-conference selection in golf and is the club champion at the Chisago Golf Course.  He has five first place finishes on the Minnesota Junior PGA, with two seconds and a third place finish.

He is an academic letterwinner and has won two industrial tech awards and one ag science award.

Duren will join a Concordia team that finished fourth in the NSIC of eight teams in its third year as a varsity program.  He is the second recruit to sign, joining Joe Koyiol.
