May. 16– Concordia men's basketball coach Kelly Boe has released the Bears 2007-08 schedule. The Bears will open their 27 game-schedule at home on November 16th against Peru State, an NAIA school from Peru, Nebraska.
Concordia will play 18 NSIC games in the last year of the current ten-team NSIC. They will play five games against the four teams (St. Cloud State, Minn. Duluth, Minnesota State and Augustana) that will join the NSIC in 2008. The other three non-conference games will come against Macalester College, North Central University and Wisconsin-River Falls.
The Bears will host 15 games at the Gangelhoff Center and will play St. Cloud State in a home and home series, playing the Huskies in St. Cloud on Dec. 13th and in the Gangelhoff on Dec. 30th.
Concordia finished 21-8 in 2006-07, setting the school wins record. They also set the school record for most conference wins, finishing 13-5 in the NSIC to garner a third place finish in the league standings - their highest ever finish in the league. The Bears are coming off of three consecutive winning seasons.
