Sep. 25– Concordia-St. Paul head men's basketball coach Kelly Boe has announced that the Golden Bears will tip-off the 2007-08 season with a pair of exhibition games against MIAC schools. The Bears will host St. Olaf College on Saturday, November 3 at 7 p.m. before St. John's (MN) University comes to the Gangelhoff Center on Saturday, November 10 at 3 p.m.

The Golden Bears head into the season without any returning starters from a year ago when they finished with a school record 21-8 overall mark and 13-5 NSIC record. They officially open the season November 16-17 when they co-host the Wildwood Lodge Tip-Off Classic with the women's basketball team. The Bears will take on Peru State and Macalaster College at 8 p.m. each night of the classic. Wisconsin-River Falls is the fourth team at the classic.
