Sep. 26– Concordia-St. Paul head women's basketball coach Paul Fessler has announced the start time for the Golden Bears exhibition game at Marquette University. The game will tip-off at 2 p.m. at Al McGuire Center in Milwaukee, Wis.
Concordia will be facing a tough test as the Golden Eagles are coming off of a 26-7 season, finishing 12-4 in the Big East Conference and advancing to the NCAA Tournament Second Round. Marquette defeated Louisiana-Lafayette 87-58 in the first round before falling to Oklahoma 78-47 in the second.
Concordia is coming off of a 22-10 season, going 15-3 to win the NSIC Championship. The Golden Bears also captured the NSIC Tournament title, giving them a sweep of the conference titles for the first time in school history. Each title was the second in school history.
The Bears advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the fifth straight year, reaching the regional semifinals for the fourth-straight year. The Bears finished with 20-plus with for the sixth-straight time as well.
