Apr. 10– The Concordia men's golf team finished 11th with a team score of 711 at the Minnesota State Invite at the 6172 yard Mankato Golf Club.  The host school, Minnesota State won the team title with a 611.  Nick Gallaway led the Bears with a 78-93=171 to finish tied for 54th.  Winona State's Troy Merritt earned medalist honors with a 69-76-145.

Kevin Strandberg finished 64th with a 89-90=179, with Lance Meyer finishing one spot back with a 91-89=180 and Matt Alford finishing in a tie for 67th after shooting 92-89=181.  Geoff Gronewold finished 71st with a score of 93-108=201.

The Bears will be in action again on on April 11th at the Maverick Invite in Mankato.
