Apr. 18– The Concordia golf team finished their season in fifth of the six teams with a two-day total of 685 at the Golden Bears Spring Invite Tuesday at the Jewel Golf Club in Lake City, MN.  Kevin Strandberg was the Bears top finisher with a scorecard of 76-84=160.

Winona State won the team title with a team score of 608 and Matt Horel of Winona State earned medalist honors with a 74-74=148.

Matt Alford carded a 88-86=174, Lance Meyer finished with a 91-84=175.  Nick Gallaway shot a 87-89=177 and Geoff Gronewold had a 97-102=199.
