Apr. 18– Concordia junior Kyle Warren was named the NSIC runner of the week by the league office.  Warren won the 800m run at the DII Challenge the Zola Witten Track in Emporia, Kansas on Saturday afternoon.

For the third straight week, Warren bettered his school-record time in the 800.  He  ran 1:53.10 to defeat a field of 43 runners in the event. He was just a tenth (.10) off of provisionally qualifying for the NCAA meet. He also has the second-best time in the NSIC behind Ben Jansen of Wayne State, who finished second in Emporia and has the seventh-best time in the NCAA DII this spring.
