Apr. 29– A few members of the Concordia women's track team braved the cold rain Saturday afternoon to compete in the Macalester Invitational. Jayme Anderson cleared 9-5 1/2 in the pole vault to finish in a tie for seventh, while Leah Perzichilli cleared 9-0 1/2 in the pole vault to finish in a tie for tenth. Kaitlin Hartnett (right) finished 10th of 40 runners in the 800 with a time of 2:25.2. Katy Davis had a toss of nearly 95-0 in the hammer and Natalie Matos ran 13.19.18 in the 3000m run. LaTwanna Rudolph also ran 18.22 in the 100 hurdles.
The track team is now off until the NSIC championships May 12-13 in Wayne, Neb.
