Second Half Rally Falls Short 75-72 in Overtime Against Wayne State
Mar. 01 - The third time was the charm for the visitors from Wayne State (16-12) as they built a 25 point lead in the second half and held off a Concordia (16-12) rally to beat the Golden Bears 75-72 in the first round of the NSIC tournament at the Gangelhoff Center on Saturday night.
Heiman, Metcalf Earn All-NSIC Honors
Feb. 28 - The Northern Sun coaches have announced their 2007-08 all-NSIC teams with Concordia sophomore Craig Heiman (Marshall, WI) earning first-team all-NSIC honors and senior James Metcalf (Killeen, TX) being named third-team all-NSIC.
Heiman Named NSIC Co-Player of the Week
Feb. 25 - For the third time this season, sophomore Craig Heiman (Marshall, WI) has been named the NSIC Player of the Week.  This week he shares the honor with Winona State's Jonte Flowers.  Heiman averaged 26.5 points on the weekend.
Concordia Earns First Round NSIC Home Game With Win Over Wayne State
Feb. 23 - Concordia (16-11, 10-8 NSIC) earned the fourth-seed in the upcoming NSIC tournament with a 77-69 win over Wayne State (15-12, 10-8 NSIC) Saturday night in the Gangelhoff Center.  By virtue of the tiebreak Concordia earns the right to host Wayne State again next Saturday, March 1 at 8:00.
Heiman Eclipses 30 Again in Double-Digit Victory for Golden Bears
Feb. 22 - Sophomore forward Craig Heiman (Marshall, Wis.) scored 26 of his 32 points in the second half to lead Concordia University (15-11, 9-8 NSIC) to a convincing 73-54 win over Southwest Minnesota State (15-11, 10-7 NSIC) on Friday evening at the Gangelhoff Center in a pivotal Northern Sun match-up. The Golden Bears outscored the Mustangs 46-29 in the second half after a tight 27-25 first half lead for CU.
Heiman's 36 Points Power Golden Bears Past Peacocks
Feb. 16 - Sophomore forward Craig Heiman (Marshall, Wis.) had one of the highest scoring outputs in school history, pouring in 36 points to lead Concordia University (14-11, 8-8 NSIC) to a 79-61 win at Upper Iowa University (7-18, 6-10 NSIC) on Saturday evening at Dorman Gymnasium in Fayette, Iowa.
Golden Bears Stumble on the Road
Feb. 15 - For the second consecutive contest, Concordia University faced a top ten nationally ranked team, this time on the road as #3 Winona State (26-1, 15-0 NSIC) dropped the Golden Bears (13-11, 7-8 NSIC) 84-59 in front of 3,341 fans at McCown Gymnasium in Winona, Minn.

Metcalf Earns NSIC Player of the Week Honor
Feb. 11 - Concordia senior James Metcalf was tabbed the NSIC Player of the Week for the first time in his career as he averaged a double-double for the second straight weekend, leading the team with 16.0 points per game and 10.5 rebounds per game as the Golden Bears split at home against the University of Mary and #6 Northern State.
Second Half Scoring Drought Costly in Loss to #6 Northern State
Feb. 09 - The Golden Bears went without a point for nearly five and a half minutes of play in the second half, and scored just four points in a span of almost 10 minutes as #6 Northern State University (22-2, 12-2 NSIC) came back to defeat Concordia University (13-10, 7-7 NSIC) on Saturday evening at the Gangelhoff Center on Think Pink night.
