Supernaw, Duncan to Suit-Up for CU in 2008-09
May. 08 - Concordia University head women's basketball coach Paul Fessler has announced that Kelly Supernaw of Delavan, Wis. has signed a National Letter of Intent while Shandrell Duncan has decided to transfer to CU from NCAA Division I IUPUI (Indiana Univ. Purdue Univ. at Indianapolis).
LaViolette Awarded NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship
May. 01 - Concordia University women's basketball standout point guard Katie LaViolette (Manitowoc, Wis.) is one of 29 female student-athletes who competed during the winter season to receive an NCAA postgraduate scholarship. She will join the women's basketball coaching staff as a Graduate Assistant in 2008-09.
Lythjohan Signs with Concordia
Apr. 28 - Concordia University head women's basketball coach Paul Fessler has announced that Tori Lythjohan of Cedarburg, Wis. has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Golden Bears in 2008-09.
2007-08 Team Awards Announced, 2008-09 Captain Selected
Apr. 18 - Concordia University head women's basketball coach Paul Fessler has announced the annual team awards, as voted on by the players of the 2007-08 Golden Bears at the annual team banquet. The highlights include a co-MVP selection of Amanda Behnke and Katie LaViolette, the NSIC Co-Players of the Year, while the 2008-09 captain will be Candace Olstad, who was also voted the Most Improved.
Behnke and LaViolette Receive All-America Nod, CU Ranked #14 in Final Poll
Apr. 01 - After tying their single season school wins record, finishing 28-3, the Concordia University women's basketball team was ranked #14 in the final USA Today/ESPN Division II Top 25 Coaches' Poll while seniors Amanda Behnke and Katie LaViolette each received all-America honors from the Women's Division II Bulletin.

Mar. 26 - Seniors Amanda Behnke and Katie LaViolette have added another honor their senior season full of accolades, as they were named to the 2008 NCAA Division II State Farm Coaches' All-America Honorable Mention Basketball Team as voted on by coaches who are members of the WBCA (Women's Basektball Coaches Association).
Second Chances Count in Concordia's Loss in NCAA Tournament
Mar. 14 - Fifth-ranked Concordia University (28-3) was outscored 19-6 in second chance points as the Golden Bears were upset by Minnesota State University (22-8) 73-70 at the DakotaDome in the first round of the NCAA North Central Regional Tournament in Vermillion, S.D. hosted by The University of South Dakota.

Behnke and LaViolette Receive First Team Daktronics All-Region Honors
Mar. 13 - Senior co-captains, conference co-players of the year and co-all-American candidates Amanda Behnke and Katie LaViolette have added another "co" to their senior season full of accolades, as they were voted onto the 2008 Daktronics NCAA Division II Women's Basketball All-North Central Region First Team. The five player team is voted on by the Sports Information Directors from the North Central Region institutions (RMAC, NSIC, NCC).
