Angie Woods returns to the Golden Bears in her fifth year on the coaching staff. Woods is not a stranger to CU, having been a member of the basketball (1999-2001) and volleyball programs (2000-01). Woods finished her college career at CU as a member of the 2000-01 basketball team that won 12 games, the most CU had seen in the win column in ten seasons. Woods graduated with a kinesiology degree in the spring of 2001. Off the court, Coach Woods is a large part of the recruiting process and is also responsible for game day preparation. On the court she works with the post players and is credited with improving the Golden Bear post-play. She again will be looked upon to lead that group. Woods is also in charge of video editing, tape breakdown and scouting. She is married to fellow assistant coach Drew and has a son, Andre.
College: Played volleyball and basketball at Monterey Peninsula Community College,1997-99. Transferred to CU in 1999 and again competed in volleyball and basketball. Graduated in 2001 with a kinesiology degree and coaching certificate. Received a masters at CU in family life education in 2007.
High School: 1997 graduate of Monterey High School in Monterey, CA. Member of successful volleyball and basketball teams
Career: Currently employed at St. Anthony High School as the ISS supervisor
Resides: St. Paul, Minn. with her husband Drew and son Andre
