A 1977 graduate from Minneapolis Central, Russell Gary brings a wide range of experience to the Concordia program. He earned all-Big Eight and all-American honors under legendary Nebraska coach Tom Osborne. After graduating in 1981, he was drafted in the second round of the 1981 NFL draft by the New Orleans Saints. There he played all eight years of his career as a safety. Gary currently resides in and works for the city of Minneapolis. He will serve as the secondary coach for the Golden Bears in his fourth season at Concordia. |
