Invitation - Christmas Vespers Social

You are invited to attend the Concordia University, St. Paul Christmas Vespers Social on Monday, December 11, at 6:30 p.m. in the Buenger Education Center. Enjoy light refreshments and fellowship, followed by Concordia's Christmas Vespers - the traditional closing service of the fall semester, featuring seasonal readings, hymns and music by student ensembles.- at 7:30 p.m. in the Buetow Music Center Auditorium (note change of location from the Chapel due to the construction project).

Christmas Vespers Concert and Social Invitation

Your church community is invited to a very special occasion hosted by Concordia University, St Paul?s Office for Congregational and Community Relations! Join us for the special Christmas Vespers Social on Monday, Dec. 11 at 6:30 p.m. in the Buenger Education Center; followed by Concordia?s Christmas Vespers at 7:30 p.m. Vespers is Concordia?s traditional closing service of the fall semester, featuring seasonal readings, hymns and music by student ensembles. Enjoy refreshments and fellowship within this celebration of God?s love in the gift of the Christ Child with Christian friends from our surrounding LCMS congregations, and faculty and staff members from the Concordia community!

The Concordia University, St. Paul?s 2006 Christmas Concert, Themed ?Now Sing, We Now Rejoice,? will be held Friday, Dec. 1, and Saturday, Dec. 2, at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 3, at 3 p.m., in Buetow Music Center Auditorium. The concert will feature seasonal music by Christus Chorus, Jubilate choir, Concert Band and Handbell Ensemble. CSP?s Christmas Concert is always a sold-out event. Harvest Time - A Church Career Camp Weekend

Concordia University, St. Paul's church career camp - Harvest Time will be held Nov. 3-4, 2006. This event is designed for high school students interested in learning more about careers in the Church. Throughout the weekend students will meet with Concordia St. Paul professors, current students and professional from various ministry career paths. Invitation to Service of Consecration - OHSCO

Alumni and friends are invited to attend a special Service of Consecration honoring new members of the Oswald Hoffman School of Christian Outreach at Concordia University, St. Paul, to take place at St. Michael's Lutheran Church in Bloomington on Sunday, Oct. 15 at 3 p.m. The service will honor the appointments of Rev. Dr. Mark Press, OHSCO?s new director, and Mr. Steve Henderson, professor of Witness and Outreach.

Concordia Live! - Sept. 30

Interested in learning more about Concordia University, St. Paul's traditional undergraduate programs? Festival of Beginnings

Join the Concordia University, St. Paul community Thursday morning, Aug. 24, from 9:30 - 10:10 a.m. in the Buetow Music Center Auditorium for the annual Festival of Beginnings. This special worship service is the official opening of the new academic year, in which we praise God for his many blessings by recognizing new faculty and staff, introducing new student leaders and honoring faculty who have advanced in rank or obtained tenure.

Book of the Year Lunch and Discussion Series

Each year Concordia University, St. Paul selects a theme and book of the year. This year CSP will host a Brown Bag Lunch Series on the 2006-07 book of the year, "The World is Flat" by Thomas Friedman. Join us Sept. 6, from noon - 1 p.m. for lunch and discussion with professor of Biology and associate dean from Academic Affairs Dr. Amy Gort. Prayer Request

Please remember in your prayers the continuing safety and well-being of non-student members of the CSP archeological excavation team remaining in Israel. All student members have departed Tel Aviv; however, non-student members of the team plan to remain in Kibbutz Ein Gev until July 28. They include: Dr. Mark Schuler, Dr. Rhoda Schuler, Darryl Schmidt, Linda Miller, Irene Abrams, Rev. Bill Meyer, Rev. Jim Rogers, Brian Andrew, Jim Apelbaum, Glenn Borchers and Marc Hequet.   

Resource Guide

In efforts to serve the church and community constituencies in a wide variety of ways, Concordia University, St. Paul's Office for Congregational and Community Relations has developed the 2006 Resource Guide. This resource is a diverse listing of faculty, staff, students and friends of the university who are willing to share their gifts, knowledge and expertise in a number of exciting ways. 24th Annual Scripture and Life Bible Study Series

Concordia University, St. Paul's Rev. Dr. Tom Trapp, professor of Religion and Theology, and President Robert Holst will host the 24th annual Scripture and Life Bible Studies on campus June 26-29, 2006. This year's theme is "Moved by The Spirit of Christ: Into All the World," and will feature a study of Acts 1-12, studying the way the Holy Spirit worked through Peter, John, Stephen and Philip as the Gospel went out to Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria. Summer Classes and Workshops

Interested in exploring a particular topic or area of studying this summer? Do you need credit hours? Concordia University, St. Paul has a number of continuing education weekend classes available on campus for a Saturday session. Classes run from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. or 9 a.m.-noon - depending on number of credits. Concordia also offers a wide variety of online classes.
