How to apply
- Apply for admission at Concordia University, St. Paul
- Complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
- Apply for a US Department of Education PIN (Takes about 3 days)
- Complete the application at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov
- Complete the Concordia University Application for Cohort-Delivered Studies
- Respond to all financial aid correspondence sent to you.
What loans are available?
- Stafford
- Subsidized (federal pays interest while student is in school)
- Unsubsidized (student pays interest while in school or capitalizes it)
- $20,500 maximum/academic year
- Concordia awards $5,000/term (the student can change this amount by requesting a change in writing)
New Borrowers
- Complete loan counseling
- Complete Master Promissory Note (PDF)
Previous borrowers:
Your Stafford loan for the school year will be processed for the amount listed on your current award unless you notify the financial aid office in writing that you would like to change this amount. - Alternative Educational Loans
If your award does not cover your bill or you do not want a federal or state loan there are other loan options. There are many types of student loans; it is important for you to choose the one that best meets your needs.
