2008 Music Theatre Camp    ---   CANCELED

DUE TO RECENT PERSONNEL CHANGES IN OUR DEPARTMENT OF THEATRE, CONCORDIA UNIVERSITY HAS DETERMINED THAT IT WILL NOT BE POSSIBLE TO PROVIDE A CAMP EXPERIENCE THIS SUMMER ON THE LEVEL OUR STUDENTS EXPECT AND DESERVE. FOR THIS REASON, THE 2008 MUSIC THEATRE CAMP HAS BEEN CANCELED.

WE PLAN TO OFFER THE CAMP AGAIN IN JUNE 2009 AND HOPE YOU WILL CONSIDER ATTENDING THEN.

  • For students currently in grades 6 - 12.
  • Training in all aspects of musical theatre, including acting, dance and movement, vocal technique - plus professional seminars in auditioning and performance.
  • There are no auditions, nor are there requirements for students attending the camp (other than wanting to have a good time and being prepared to work hard!)
  • Students attend classes in the morning and during the afternoon and in the evening work on the performance that they will present to family and friends on the last day.
  • Participation fee is $695.  The price includes accommodations for five days and nights, all meals, all classes and seminars, and a ticket to a professional theatre production.
    Discounts available:
$50 discount for students who have attended this camp previously
$50 discount for referring a friend who has not attended previously
$50 discount for registering by May 15, 2008 (Registration form and deposit must be received by that date.)
Please note: The maximum discount per student is $150.00.
  • To register, complete and return the registration form and enclose a $150 (non-refundable) deposit for each person planning to attend the camp. The balance of $545 is due June 4, 2008.   In the event of cancellation by Concordia, your deposit will be refunded after June 6, 2008.
