Center for Hmong Studies Hosts Traveling Exhibit, New Lectures

The Center for Hmong Studies will host a traveling exhibit which explores the perspective of Hmong Girl Scouts throughout the community, showcasing their original writing and photography. The exhibit runs Nov. 5-30.  It is free and open to the public.  The Center also will host two lectures by Dr. Gary Yia Lee.  The first lecture, "The Origin of the Hmong," will be held on Thursday, Nov. 15, at 6:30 p.m., in the Buenger Education Center.  The second lecture, "The Hmong in America: A Reflection and Observation," will be held on Thursday, Dec. 6, at 6:30 p.m., in the Buenger Education Center.  Both lectures are free and open to the public.
