Individuals may be admitted to Concordia University as School of Continuing Studies students. Continuing Studies students may be seeking an Associate of Arts degree, or may be admitted as undeclared, undergraduate, degree seeking students. An AA is not required to begin a degree completion program.

Students may earn college semester credits through the School of Continuing Studies in the following areas: *Early Childhood Certificate *Childcare Professionals Administrative Certificate *Concordia classes and programs meet NAEYC accreditation criteria. General Education Courses Associate of Arts
Admitted, enrolled Concordia School of Continuing Studies students may transfer in nontraditional credits as electives. Nontraditional transfer credits include the following areas:
Early Childhood, School-Age or Family Child Care Training Modules: 15 semester credits (max) Child Development Associate: 12 semester credits (CDA) CPR/First Aid : 1 semester credit Professional Development Training Hours: 60 hours equals 1 semester credit Military Basic Training : 4 semester credits Military Training Transcripts are also individually evaluated for credit
