About Dr. Lana Huberty
Dr. Lana Huberty brings a practical approach to Concordia's Sport Management program. With more than 15 years in private and public sport organizations, she has the experience to bring course material to life for students and illustrate how practical theories work in the "real world." The mixture of academic excellence with professional acumen gives students critical analysis skills they will need in the workplace. Students also gain practical experience working on applied projects and field research while focusing on their academic pursuits. Following a successful administrative career, Lana has taught at the university level for three years, working with traditional undergraduate students, graduate students, and adult cohort students.
