Pre-Engineering students receive a solid foundation in mathematics, chemistry and physics.  When students complete their first two years at Concordia, they are prepared to enter an engineering program as upper level students.  Concordia's pre-engineering program was designed in consultation with the Institute of Technology at the University of Minnesota to ensure that course credits meet the program requirements.

Concordia's small class size, not standard at a larger university, offers an important advantage to pre-engineering students.  At Concordia, the average lecture and lab size is 20 students, which allows faculty to give individual attention to students during their early coursework.  More so, each class is taught by a university professor, encouraging a cooperative learning atmosphere.  Another advantage of a Concordia education is the accessibility of instructors before or after class and for individual appointments.  Concordia also provides a quality, Christian liberal arts education.
