For the second consecutive day, Concordia University (7-3) split in Ft. Myers, Fla. at the Gene Cusic Classic, falling 4-1 to Mercyhurst before rebounding for a 4-0 win over Alma.

Game 1 - Mercyhurst 4, CU 1
In the 4-1 loss to Mercyhurst, junior Natalie Mast (Oakdale, MN) led Concordia, going 2-4 with a stolen base.

Game 2 - CU 4, Alma 0
In the 4-0 victory, the Golden Bears cruised behind Jenny Kaminski, (Jr., Columbia Heights, MN) who posted a complete game shutout, striking out six while Abby Brundidge (So., Nekoosa, WI) provided the muscle with a three-run home run.

Concordia is off tomorrow, returning to the diamond on Thursday to face Mercyhurst at 9 a.m. and Johnson & Wales at 11 a.m.
