Apr. 08– Concordia University head baseball coach Mark "Lunch" McKenzie has announced that the scheduled doubleheader at the University of Minnesota Duluth on Wednesday, April 9 at 2 p.m. has been cancelled. No make-up date has been announced at this time.

The two teams were initially scheduled to play two doubleheaders this season, home and away. Both doubleheaders have now been cancelled, the first was postponed once before being cancelled last week. Neither doubleheader has a scheduled make-up in 2008.

The 14-8 overall Golden Bears will defend their second place standing in the Northern Sun this weekend when they travel to Marshall, Minn. for a four game series against 14-9 Southwest Minnesota State. The Golden Bears are 8-4 in league play while SMSU is 5-3.
