Apr. 11– Concordia Freshman Abby Brundidge was named the NSIC Player of the Week after a strong offensive performance at the NSIC Crossover in St. Paul on Monday and Tuesday.  Brundidge went 9-15 (.600) with three doubles, a home run and 13 RBI in five games at the NSIC Crossover.

Against the University of Mary, Brundidge went 2-4 with two two-run doubles, including the game winner in the bottom of the seventh. She finished with five RBI in the game as the Bears came back in the seventh inning to win 10-9. Against Northern State, she went 3-3 with a 3-run home run, four RBI and two runs scored. She finished going 2-3 with a double and two RBI against UM Crookston. On the week, she finished with a 1.000 slugging percentage.

The Bears are now 17-11 (4-1 NSIC) on the year and will host Winona State on Friday, April 13th at 6:00 in NSIC double-header action.
