Apr. 22– The Concordia womens golf team shot a second-day tournament team low 332 to finish in a tie with host Minnesota State for second of 11 teams with a 685 at the two-day MSU Invitational at the par-74, 5389 yard Lakeside Country Club in Waseca, MN. The University of North Dakota won with a 670 (332-338).
Freshman Kelly Godwin led the Bears attack with a 88-81=169 to finish in a tie for 11th. Alexia Gagnon-LaPlan took medalist honors with a 77-78=155.
The Bears will now wait to see if they are invited to the NCAA North Central Regional in Waterloo, Iowa. Invitations will be announced on April 23rd.
