Apr. 24– Concordia freshman Kelly Godwin was invited to play at the 2007 NCAA Division II North Regional.  On the year, Godwin is averaging 81.4 shots per 18 holes through 19 rounds of golf in her freshman campaign.  She becomes the second Golden Bear to earn the honor, joining Jennie (Eyberg) Schader, who qualified in 2005. 

The tournament will take place on Apr. 30-May 2 at Sunnyside Country Club in Waterloo, Iowa, and is hosted by Upper Iowa University. The regional will consist of both team and individual competition conducted concurrently with six teams and three individuals from non-qualifying teams at each site. All 33 participants will compete throughout the 54 holes of competition. The top two teams along with the top two individuals not with a team from each regional, will advance to the NCAA championships on May 9-12.

The 2007 NCAA Division II Women¹s Golf Championships will be held May 9-12, at Stonebrook Golf Club in Pensacola, Fla., and will be hosted by the University of West Florida.
