May. 21– Concordia's senior leadoff hitter Matt Borman continues to receive high honors around the region as he was selected to two more all-central region first teams by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ACBA) and the National Collegiate Baseball Writer's Association (NCBWA). He made the ABCA team as an outfielder and the NCBWA team at utility.
Borman, the 2007 NSIC Pitcher of the Year and all-NSIC selection at two positions (P/OF), led the Golden Bears to a school record in wins, finishing 30-13. He also holds four single-season school records (HR, R, RBI, H) and one career record (HR). He earned three NSIC Player of the Week honors in 2007 (one pitcher, two player).
