Jun. 15– Former Concordia star and current Chicago Rush OL/DL Joe Peters will play Monday on Russell Athletic ESPN Arena Football Monday on ESPN2 at 10:00 p.m. ET, when the Colorado Crush (8-6) host the Rush (10-4).

Peters is in his 2nd AFL season in Chicago and has 22.5 tackles and 1 sack on the season.  He has also played with the af2’s Peoria Pirates (2004) and Green Bay Blizzard (2005). 

While at Concordia, Peters was a four-year letterwinner (2000-2003), recording 153 tackles and 29 sacks in 44 career games as a defensive end. He holds the university record for career sacks and tackles for loss (63) and was named first team All-Northern Sun Conference as a sophomore, junior and senior (2001, 2002 and 2003). He also played in the Cactus Bowl (Division II all-star game) after his senior season.
