Aug. 07– Jennie (Eyberg) Schader joins the Concordia women's golf coaching staff after a successfull playing career for the Golden Bears. Schader finished second at the 2004 NSIC Championships, earning all-NSIC honors. She also became the first CU women's golfer to play in the NCAA Regional Tournament where she finished 20th in 2004.
She was a member of both the 2004 and 2007 Concordia teams that finished third at the NSIC championhsips, marking the highest finish for the Bears.
According to head coach Matt Higgins, “Coach Waryan and I are really excited to have Jennie join as an assistant coach. She will be in charge of recruiting and help with day-to-day activities. She has had a great playing career here. As a prior golfer for Concordia, she knows our program, conference and region so she already brings a lot of knowledge to the program and her transition from player to coach will be very simple."
Shader is a 2005 graduate of Concordia and is currently working on her masters degree. She has worked for Concordia University in the admissions office since 2005. She currently lives in North St. Paul with her husband Nick.
