Aug. 26– The Concordia women's soccer team fell to 0-2 on the season with a 2-0 loss on the road to the University of South Dakota.  The Coyotes scored on their first shot of the game in the fifth minute to take a quick 1-0 lead and would score again in the 75th minute.

The Bears had seven shots against the Coyotes, with two on goal, one each by newcomers Lauren Nelson and Kari Janes.  USD outshot the Bears 12-7, with six on goal. 

Keyton Wheelock took the loss in net for CSP, allowing two goals with four saves in 90:00 minutes.

The Bears will open their home season on Aug. 31 when they host Wisconsin Parkside at 4:00 at Concordia Field.
