Aug. 31– The Concordia women's soccer team (0-3) was shut-out 2-0 by the Rangers of Wisconsin-Parkside (2-0) in the Bears home opener at Concordia Field. 

The Bears were outshot 18-5 while putting four shots on net.  The Rangers got on the board in the ninth-minute and held a 1-0 lead at the intermission.  They added the second goal of the game in the 58th minute.

Keyton Wheelock took the loss, while Erica Higuchi earned the win for Wisconsin-Parkside.
