Sep. 21– Concordia-St. Paul (2-6-2) dropped a 5-0 decision at Minnesota State University (6-2) on Friday afternoon in Mankato, Minn.

The Bears struggled, getting outshot 26-0 in the game with the Mavericks firing half of their shots (13) on goal.

Concordia split duty in the net with Keyton Wheelock earning the start, and the loss, falling to 2-4-1 on the seaosn. Wheelock surrendered three goals, facing 13 total shots while saving a pair of the five shots on goal. Hannah Turgerson played the second half, and allowed two goals while making six saves and facing 12 shots.

The Bears will return home for a Sunday afternoon non-conference tilt against former and future Northern Sun member Minnesota Duluth at 2:00 p.m. The UMD game will close out Concordia's non-conference portion of their schedule.
