Sep. 29– The Concordia cross country team had an impressive showing at the prestigious Roy Griak Invite at the Les Bolstad Golf Course in St. Paul on Saturday. Emily Stanzyk finished in 53rd of 279 runners in the DII race, crossing the line in 24:31 to lead the women to a 24th place finish of 30 teams. It was the second fastest time ever by a Concordia runner on the Griak course.
The men did not post a team score. Dan Schield led the Bears with a 28:06 to finish in 112th of 251 runners over the 8K course.
