Oct. 03–  Concordia-St. Paul junior defensive back TJ Prunty (St. Paul, Minn.) will be featured on WCCO-TV's 6 p.m. sports segment with Mike Max. Prunty, who initially played for the University of Miami, put his football career on hold to pursue professional baseball when the Minnesota Twins selected him in the 20th round of the 2000 Major League Baseball Amateur Draft. The 6-3, 232 pound strong safety is in his first season with the Golden Bears after deciding to complete his education. Prunty has made 17 tackles, broken up two passes and has 0.5 tackles for loss so far in his return to the gridiron.
