Oct. 21– The Golden Bears suffered a 2-1 loss on the road against Upper Iowa Sunday afternoon.  Nikki Hertel got Concordia on the board first with an eight-yard shot below the Peacock goalie in the 36th minute, off a pass from Taylor Campione.

The Bears took the 1-0 lead into halftime, but Upper Iowa scored two goals in the 55th and 62nd minute, getting both goals off Keyton Wheelock in the Concordia net.  She did have six saves in the game.

Concordia allowed 24 shots in the game, with eight on net, while taking 11 shots, five on goal. 

The Bears will return home on Oct. 27th when Southwest Minnesota State visits Concordia Field.
