Oct. 31– Concordia seniors Hillary Johnson and Krysta Briese have been named to NSIC all-conference teams as voted on by the coaches. Johnson was a first-team selection for the second straight year, while Briese was named to the second-team.
Johnson leads the team in goals this season with eight and points with 17. Her name can be found throughout the Concordia recordbook. She has appeared in 77 games and is second all-time in goals with 27 and points with 67 and third in assists with 13. She holds single game records for goals in a game with four and points in a game with eight. She was an all-region and first team all-NSIC performer in 2006.
Briese has anchored a defense that has posted seven shutouts this season and 25 shutouts in the last four years. She has played in 72 games in a Golden Bear uniform and played goalie in seven games in 2004.
