Nov. 03– The Concordia women finished 18th of 23 teams at the NCAA North Central Regional in Vermillion, SD, Saturday afternoon, marking the highest finish in school history. The Bears were the fourth highest finishing school from the NSIC. The men did not post a team score.
Women's Individual Results - Complete Results
Emily Stanzyk – 59th place – 23:19.68 (Personal Best by 24.72 seconds. Sets CSP course record. Her personal best means she is the 3rd fastest CSP woman individual runner for 6K in school history, only behind Amanda Mueller and Emily Shoop. Had a 4:12.2 improvement from last year’s NCAA Region Championships along with a 78 place improvement.)
Shae Wallin – 62nd Place – 23:24.88 (Personal Best by 6.7 seconds. 5th fastest 6K race ever by a CSP woman runner. Had a 56.92 second improvement from last year’s NCAA Region Championships and an 11 place improvement from last year.)
Kendall Bruhl – 119th place – 24.33.15 (Personal Best by 45.95. Had a 1 minute and 37.55 second improvement from last year’s NCAA Region Championships.)
Sandra James – 128th place – 24:53.84 (Personal best by 34.26 seconds. Had a 3 minute and 14.06 second improvement from last year’s NCAA Region Championships and a 26 place improvement.)
Kaitlin Hartnett – 133rd place – 25:09.48 (Season Best by 1 Minute and 12.72 seconds.)
Megan Fulton – 136th place – 25:15.71 (Had a 33.19 second improvement from last year’s NCAA Region Championships.)
Danielle Stewart – 159th place – 28:21.22 (Season Best by 1 Minute and 0.88 seconds. Improved)

Dan Schield – 81st place – 34:01.86 (Personal and season best by 2 Minutes and 1.14 seconds. CSP Course Record. Had a 2 minute and 15.54 second improvement from last year’s NCAA Regional Championships and a 23 place improvement from last year. He also runs the 2nd fastest individual race in CSP history only behind Collin Bredeson’s school record race of 33:53.94 back in 2003.)
Paul James – 115th place – 36:14.61 (Personal Best by 27.09 seconds. Had a 27.9 second improvement from last year’s NCAA Regional Championships.)
Josh Stebbins – 127th place – 37:05.0 (Season Best time.)
Cameron Husom – 137th place – 40:39.59 (Season Best time.)
