Dec. 01–
The second-ranked Concordia University volleyball team will play #15 Western Washington tonight at 7:00 in the NCAA Division II National Championship at 7:00 in Topeka, Kansas.  It will be the Golden Bears' second trip to the championship match, finishing as runner-ups to North Alabama in 2003.

The Golden Bears are making their third appearance in the Elite Eight in the last five years.  They were the Division II runner-ups in 2003, falling to North Alabama in the Championship match.  In 2005, the Golden Bears were eliminated in the Elite Eight quarterfinals by the University of Tampa.
