Nov. 27– Concordia men's golf coach Matt Higgins has announced that Joe Koyiol has signed a National Letter of Intent to Golf for the Golden Bears in 2008.

Koyiol, a senior at Eveleth-Gilbert High School has earned three letters in golf entering his senior year and two in basketball.  He is a three-time all-East Range Conference member and has one MSHSL state tournament appearance entering the year.

Koyiol maintains a 3.75 grade point average and is the student council vice president. 

He joins a Concordia men's golf team that finished fourth at the 2007 NSIC championships.
