Oct. 25– The Concordia cross country team competed at the NSIC Championships hosted by UM-Duluth in Carlton, MN. Emily Shoop finished in 6th of 59 runners with a time of 23:40.9 and earned all-conference honors for the second straight year. Marcus Breitbarth and Collin Bredeson each earned all-conference honors by breaking the school record over 8K. Breitbarth finished 7th with a time of 25:57.6 and Bredeson finished 8th in a time if 26:15.4. The men's team finished in fifth of sixth teams, while the women finished seventh of seven teams.

On the men's side, Kyle Warren 30:00 (29th); Josh Bernau 29:49 (35th); Hassan Guyo 30:10 (37th) and Alan Stage 31:35 (43rd).

The women's times include: Jessica Johnson 26:01 (35th); Jessica Gertz 26:28 (42nd); Reena Linke 29:11 (57th); Sarah Johnson 30:57 (59th).
