Jun. 09– Concordia golf coach Matt Higgins has announced that Kelsey Walt has signed a National Letter of Intent to play for Concordia University for the 2004-05 season.

Walt, a 2004 graduate of Minnehaha Academy, was a three-sport athlete, where she earned ten letters in volleyball, basketball and golf and served as the team captain for all three. She qualified for the State golf tournament in 2002 and 2003. She was a member of the Redhawk basketball team that placed third at the Class AA state tournament in 2001. She was named the Athena Award winner as the outstanding female athlete at Minnehaha Academy.
