Sep. 28– The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference has named Concordia-St. Paul’s Renato Otten NSIC Cross Country Athlete of the Week. Otten, a freshman from St. Paul, Minn., recorded a time of 27:56 at the Roy Griak Invitational. Otten, competing in his first collegiate race, finished 107 out of 368 runners.

The Bears have now had a runner named athlete of the week after each of their three meets this season. Shae Wallin was athlete of the week after the St. John's Invitational and Marcus Breitbarth was named athlete of the week for his performance at the UMD Invite.
